Let God Paint your Life

Imagine your life as a canvas for a minute. When we paint on our canvas, our life is just a painted picture. When God paints on our canvas, our life is a Masterpiece. Sometimes, it can be hard to let go of our paintbrush and give it to God though. We want control of our life and we think that our way is the best way. So we try to paint on our canvas. We try to paint our life and our future. When that happens, thinks don’t turn out quite right. I recently gave over the paintbrush to God, so He can paint my life on the canvas. Because He can do a much better job than I can. That was on a Wednesday. Eight days later, My sister, brother, and I were in a car accident that could have very easily taken our lives. We hit a cement barrier head on. We crossed through 3 lanes of the highway and back again, and there were no other cars hit. If we would have taken our big 12 passenger van, it would have rolled. We took our car. The car we did take, is no longer drivable. It is all smashed up and bent. Are we hurt? No. All we walked away with was whiplash which wasn’t even that severe. What is the point of that story? That when you give God control of your life, when you give God the paintbrush, miracles happen. It’s true. I have seen it up close. God still have work for us here on earth. God is still painting my life. And He is doing a wonderful job so I will let Him finish painting my life till the canvas end, and I encourage you to do the same. Give God the paintbrush and watch His masterpiece (you) unfold.

Sisters. Sisters are incredibly awesome! If you have never had a sister you missed out on one of lives blessings. And I have been blessed with four amazing, beautiful sisters.

They may not always seem that great. But in reality, I don't know what I would do without them. They are the best you could ask for.

Your sisters may not always be biological, but they are connected by the heart when the judge signs the paper making them forever yours.

Sisters are either in a "Lets go hang out at the movies" type of mood or they wish you didn't exist. I find there is really no in between! :)

Sometimes yes, sisters can act like little know it all's or sasses but they do truly love you (despite what they say) because we are sisters.

And sisters are truly the best people in the world! :)

(My brothers, I love you too.... :)
