Quick, Easy Cancer Care Package.

I know this girl who is 15 and has been battling cancer for a long time and just got her leg amputated this last summer... :( So I got her address and sent her this cd! "Overcomer" by Mandisa. I love the songs on here and I hope they encourage Macy as well!

Do you know someone with cancer? Can you take a little time out of your day to sent a note, gift, or care package? Please do and make sure to tell them Jesus loves them! :)

Please pray for Macy that God would heal her inside and out! :)

Super Simple Dog Toys

I made these super simple dog toys the other day out of scrap fabric. They were SO easy! All you do is, cut straps of scrap fabric, (fleece works the best) the braid them together! Then you can donate them to your local animal shelter! I have done this before, and when my mom brought them in for me, she said they said they go through like five a day! :0 So I made thirty more and they will be dropped off tomorrow. :)

This is a really simple project that you can use to make a difference in your community. Will you join in the fun and make a difference in a dog's life? :)

"No Sweeter Name" - Kari Jobe

Yes, I know. Another one of my favorite songs I discovered. :)
I love Kari Jobe's voice and songs. Especially this one! I sing this all the time. It is an AWESOME and SWEET song to Jesus! Please listen to it. It will bless you. :)

College Care Package

Today I made a college care package for my cousin, Turner. And all it had in it was cereal. :) Nothing else. Just cereal. But here is the note I put with his cereal....

:) Just so you are aware, I love Pinterest and puns! "Cerealsy!" :) Under my little note, there was this.

See told you. Just cereal!! :) I hope he likes it. I do! :)
Do you know someone in college? Send them a care package!! :)

Beautiful Fall!

Today, my family and I went to a local pumpkin patch/apple orchard thing. :) We had a lot of fun and I took some pictures of God's beautiful creation too! Here are some of my favorites.

Peanut Butter Bars.

Yesterday, I brought peanut butter bars to the Post Office lady and the Librarians. :)

It took a minute to convince the post office lady that they were for her... But she liked them and appreciated them! :)

The Librarians were extremely grateful and very happy! :)

Both the lady at the Post Office and all the Librarians, do so much for our community so I really wanted to thank them. And what better way to do it than with yummy bars! :)
Such a simple act of kindness goes a long way when it is from your heart.
I challenge you to go now and bless the people around you serving in your community! :)

This Morning at Church

This morning, church was awesome! It always is though... :)
But I left some cookies on Kim's desk and a little "Emergency kit" on Wendy's desk. :)
Kim is a very nice lady who used to be the children's ministry director at church before Wendy. She is also Kyra's mother. :) But Kim has been very kind to me and very helpful! So I wanted to brighten her day with some yummy cookies! :) (although I forgot to take a picture for you...)
I did snap a picture of Wendy's "Emergency Kit" for you though! :)

Also this morning at church... I got to see Kyra! :) She has been at college for two months and she was home for the weekend so I got to see her at church this morning! :) That was awesome! I am also working on another care package for her so stay tuned! :)

Movie Night!

Tonight, I left some popcorn on a redbox machine. :) Now I hope the next person who goes to get a movie, will find this sweet treat and have a great night! The card on the popcorn says "This random act of kindness is for you! :) Please enjoy some popcorn with your movie tonight! Love, Me <3)
(Sorry the picture is dark. it was late.)
As I was taping it to the thing, the guy from the store came out to collect the carts cause it was closing time. I pretended to be looking at movies... But it seemed like it was taking him longer than usual to collect them so I just quickly taped it up and got back it the car. :) It's not that I don't want him to see it, I just don't want him to take it down! :)

Here are a couple more random acts of kindness ideas having to do with the redbox and movie nights! :)

1. Pay for the person behind you at the movie theater. Either while buying tickets or popcorn. :)
2. If  you rent a movie from a redbox, return it back with a couple dollars in the case for the next person to have free movie! :)

Cheer Up Kit for Shannon!

So my pen pal Shannon, just wrote to me and told me about some hard things happening in her life right now. It felt like she needed some cheering up. So I made her this. :)

Here are better pictures of what I included. :) (sorry they're a little dark)

Then, after I had it all loaded in the box, (top pic) I added gold foil shreds.

I put tissue paper on and then topped it with a card. :)

Shannon is very special to me. Her and I have been pen pals for 4 years and we plan to still be writing in another 4 years! :) We met at a homeschooler's family camp. She is super fun to be with and super fun to write with! :) If you need a friend, try a pen pal too. I have been blessed with FIVE pen pals! :) And they're names are: Gracelyn, Sarah, Katie, Madeline, and Shannon!
I hope this package cheers Shannon when she might not feel like smiling! :)
I hope you will now go and make a cheer up package for your friend or pen pal. (A bonus for you, making this to cheer someone else up, cheers you up too!)
I love you Shannon! <3
