Care Package Idea for a Little Girl

I put together this care package for a little girl I know and I thought I would share it with you for the little girl in your life! :) It's really easy to put together and so fun the recipient!

Number one, you need fun activities. Such as, stickers, a Play Pack, and a coloring and activity roll. :) But be creative. You could also include, 
Sticker book
Coloring book and crayons
Velvet art picture
Scratch art
Anything a little girl would like to do! :)

Number two, things to play with outside. Like bubbles and glow sticks. But you could also include,
Chalk
Balls
Kite
Depending on how old they are, you could also include, a jump rope.

Something you have to add to every little girl care package, is....
Pretties! :) Here I have a bracelet, hair bow, and headband. But you could also add 
A necklace
Fabric reversible headbands
Hair ribbons
Hair bands
Brush/comb
And so much more!!! :)

Then once you have everything, decide if you are going to put it in a basket or wrap it. I wrapped mine, so I found a pink box and put everything in it.

We didn't have any pink wrapping paper, so yellow had to work. And it does! :)

My Sunshine Birthday Party!

Last Friday, I had my sunshine birthday party! I didn't get as many pictures as last year but here you go! :)

Instead of presents, I asked everyone to bring yellow items for sunshine baskets. When my friends got here with their yellow items, we put them all together and sorted the items. We made four baskets. So we then sorted all the items into four different baskets trying to make sure each one had something of each. :)

Then we had pizza and cake. :) Yum!

After we ate, we went out to deliver the baskets to the four different places. Three out of four people were home.

Our first stop was at friends from church! He was home so we gave it to him! :) He loved it! His wife wasn't home but he said he would make sure she got it. Actually later after my party was done, she called and thanked me for it! :) She loved it! Here is what they got in their basket! A few things are not visible cause of the foil shreds but the bucket is full!

We had these for them but they didn't fit in the basket. So we brought them separate. :)

Second stop was a friend from church. They are my special friends. :) She didn't want to be in the picture, but her grand daughter, who I help watch sometimes was in the picture! :)

Here is what they got! :) Again, the foil shreds cover a few things up but the bucket is full!!

Third stop was a lady who has several different health issues. She wasn't home but we left it on her porch for her to find when she got home. :)

Fourth stop was to my Nana's house. Well she isn't technically my Nana but sometime a while ago we started calling her that and I guess we just never stopped. :) I hadn't seen her in a while so it was great to see her again! :) She loved her basket and all it's goodies! :)
You can't really see much in the picture. But there is a lot more in this basket then what is visible. :)


When we were done delivering our baskets we came home and played kick ball! :)
I had a great day! So thank you everyone who made it fun and special! I'm already thinking about next year...! :)

RAOKs At Pool!

In August, my brother, my cousin, and me are doing an relay triathlon. I am doing the swimming part. Today was a good day to swim so I went to the local pool and trained. It was also a good day to do random acts of kindness! :) So here's what I did.

First, I left these two swimming items in the bathrooms. 
When we were there last week, I left a tube in the bathroom and it was gone today! So hopefully someone will find these two as well! :)


I also left these bubbles on the playground outside the pool for some special kid to find. :)

And this last one was my favorite. :) I brought this one dollar bill to leave it in a bathroom stall for someone to find and buy themselves a treat. But while we there, I saw a special little girl that I knew. So I asked her mom if I could buy her ice cream and she said I can if I wanted too but I didn't have too. Well of course I wanted too! :) So she came with me and she picked out a pink freeze pop. Yes it had to be pink! :) It was almost as big as her but she loved it and I loved getting it for her! :)  

And that's what I did today. :)

New Goal!

I am no longer working on my goal of $500 for Max and True Hope Ukraine. I have set a new goal. $150 to feed nursing mothers and babies. For $9, you can feed a nursing mother or a baby. So I want to earn $150 so I can feed babies! Can you help? :)

"Infant hunger can quickly develop into severe malnutrition, which is linked to almost half of all deaths of children under five years old." That is really sad. 16,000 kids die a day because of lack of food. Every five seconds.... 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... :( 1... 2... 3... 4... 5...  And many of those kids are helpless tiny babies... 

Luke 3:11 And He answered them, "Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise."

Deuteronomy 15:11 For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, 'You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.'

God commands us to help the poor. There are many more verses. These are just two. So we need to obey God and help the poor. Gifts Of Hope #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #14!

Today I made six Gifts Of Hope! #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #14! I will hand them out ASAP! :) This world needs hope!! Here is one of the notes I wrote. All six notes were different. Different messages. The only thing they have in common is, were that they were all written to encourage someone! :) With each one being different, I trust that God is going to direct each Gift Of Hope to the person who needs it most.


I added a coupon and a verse to the note! :)

Jelina's 14 Random Acts Of Kindness

I have a sister who now lives in Heaven. Her name is Jelina Dawn. Her due date was around the end of June. She would have been turning 14 years old this year. So in memory of her and a gift for my mom, I completed 14 random acts of kindness.
I even did them all without my mom finding out! :) It was a little hard but it's okay. So here you go Mom, Dad, and everyone else. "Jelina's 14 Random Acts Of Kindness"

Oh, and I am not very good at taking pictures while doing the RAOK... So most of these are pictures before I did the RAOK. But I promise I did do the RAOK! :)

1. I went to a random parking lot and left three different envelopes on three different cars for three different people. :) Oh, and without getting caught in the act! :)

2. I went to a public bathroom and left over five different encouraging sticky notes to brighten people's day!
 Top: "You are Beautiful!" Bottom: "You are Special!"

3. I left money on a vending machine for some special person to find and enjoy a treat! :)


4. I left quarters on the kiddie rides to make some little kid VERY happy! :) Wouldn't you be happy to find money?!?

5. I gave a coloring book and crayons to an adorable little girl who seemed very happy to have a Minnie Mouse coloring book and crayons! :) Her smile was priceless!

6. I wrote a little encouraging note and left it on our table for our waiter to find with his tip! :)

7. I left a gift for the mailman in our mailbox for the mailman to find! :) He loves getting gifts.

8. Left three gifts for kids at the park. We actually got to see a kid find a toy! He was SO excited!!! He loved it! He showed all his friends ad then they ran off to find other ones and they succeeded in that! They were all so happy! :)

9. I went to the library and stuck a note and dollar bill in a kids book. If you were a kid, wouldn't you be happy to find a dollar bill in a book? Even if you were an adult! I mean, who doesn't love free money?!? :)
 "Open me! Yes you! I'm a surprise in your book! :)"

10. I handed out "flowers" with cards to four beautiful ladies I saw. They all seemed surprised to receive them but grateful at the same time. :) The flowers had verses on the inside.

11. I handed out cold water bottles to six tired looking mommies and daddies at the park who were very grateful for something to drink after chasing their little ones around. I know how that goes! :)

12. I decided to hand out a five dollar bill. I wanted to give it to someone who looked like they could use it. But I really can't determine that. So I trusted that God had me give it to someone who needed it. Even though it's only $5. I felt like I needed to give it to this young woman who had a young child. So I walked up to her and handed the bill to her with my RAOK card and told her it was for her. She didn't seem to understand why a teen girl was giving her a five dollar bill just because. I explained to her why I was doing it and finally she took it and seemed grateful. :) Mission accomplished! :)

13. I passed out compliments to people! :) I hope that they did pass the compliments on and they are now being passed from person to person brightening each life! :)

14. I put together a "happy mail" package to give to some kid I find. But I can't really call it happy mail if I'm not sending it through the mail. So I guess I'll just call it a "Happy package" :) I found a kid and asked his mom's permission first (I always do) and with the permission, I gave him a package full of fun! :) He seemed to like it. But I think his mom was more touched. :)

Gift Of Hope #8

I  just left a Gift Of Hope in the mailbox for our Mailman. For him to find in the morning! :) As you know, I leave gifts for the mail carriers a LOT! But they are not always Gifts Of Hope! But this one was. :)


I hope he enjoys it! He sure is appreciated. 

My Birthday! :)

Hi everyone!
Today is my 13th birthday! :) I lot has happened to me my past year. I lot of change, hurt, and yet happiness! And there is still a lot more to come.

Some of my goals this year are....
To do like ten times more random acts of kindness than I have been doing! Or maybe a hundred! :)    I want to do more for people in my community.
I want to bake and give the treats away more often!
I want to help the homeless.
I want to make cancer care packages for people battling cancer.
And most of my list looks like that!! :) Which is fine with me!

I know this next year is going to fun and I will be making lots of new friends. Between going to a new church and going to a new youth group. I know I will make new friends. Which is always good!

I want to thank the special people in my life who love me and care about me! You know who you are people! :)

And one last thing, I want to change the world. :)

Day Six at Grandma's House

Today was the last day Izzy and I were at my Grandparent's house. We had a lot of fun and we did a lot of random acts of kindness. :) But here are the two things we did today.

Gave a note to the Bank Teller. Which would be in our Forgotten Heroes Challenge too, but that ended last night! :)

And it was also National Postal Worker Day. And we had to go to the post office anyway, so I brought smarties to her! :) She was very surprised to receive a gift but once I explained why I was giving it to her, she accepted it with a huge smile! :)
